A Man Named Dave

I came across this #1 New York bestseller just recently. It was about Dave Pelzer. The book describes the last day of abuse with his mother on March 4, 1973, where he describes being hit in the throat with a broom, pushed down steps and choked, before being rescued on March 5, 1973. He also describes joining the Air Force and about his father's battle and death with terminal cancer. Dave also describes how his mother has not yet "changed", and how he is understanding how she never will. This is indeed an extraordinary story of triumph and forgiveness. Check it out.
