Quality of Life, Not Length of Years

Each week, I see a number of "senior citizens" in my life study sessions in the mall coffee shop. I admire a number of them for they'd lived life to the fullest during their prime. And now. they're spending most of their time knowing and serving the Lord and others.

Let me ask you, "How do you live your life right now?" Regardless of age, the crucial issue is not how long you and I last. Jesus Christ presents the question to us in several ways -- offering the decision of a lifetime. Jesus said ...

"If you try to keep your life for your self, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will find true life." (Mark 8: 34-35)

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world (and live long) and forfeit his life? For what can a man give in return for his life?" (Mark 8: 36)

"I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest." (John 10: 10)

Where can we find quality life? Quality life comes from Christ.
