When No One Seems To Care During Your Deepest Pain

One of the biggest struggles of someone in deep crisis, need, or pain is experiencing uncaring people around during the healing journey.

Family members can desert or leave you.

Friends and acquaintances can avoid you when they see you coming.

People in the church and even your pastor can ignore, criticize, or blame you.

And now you wonder amid your pain if anyone really cares about YOU.

Here’s a sure promise from God to you when faced with any crisis of serious proportion … and people around don’t seem to care about what you’re going through:

“Casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7)

As Thomas Merton put it, “I will not fear, for you are ever with me, and you will never leave me to face my perils alone.”

When no one seems to care …. remember, GOD CARES.

At the same time, remember too in the Bible that whenever God wants something done, He calls and sends a special person to do it.

Don’t forget to ask God to bring His special person to stand with you as you navigate your way through the flow of healing and recovery.

Then, keep your eyes wide open for that special person God will send.
