The Bible has comparative proverbs: "Better is a little with righteousness than great income with injustice" (Proverbs 16:8); "Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure and turmoil with it. Better is a dish of vegetables where love is, than a fattened ox and hatred with it" (Proverbs 15:16, 17). In a kind of world we live in, people forget, suppress, or deny such profound wisdom. The mind and heart play tricks on us. Face it - do I need to mention how many individuals and families are a victim of this woundedness of "income with injustice?"
