The Therapy for Death

American psychiatrist/author, Dr. Raymond Moody, studied 150 people (during the 70s) in near-death experiences and, in some cases, who clinically were dead. Dr. Moody asserted that his actual case histories were highly significant to believe that there is "life after death." This resulted in his two seminal books, "Life After Life" and "Reflections on Life After Life."

The "absolute certainty of death" is one objective fact about our human condition and experience. No one escapes or gets out alive in this world!  The only therapy and protection we have against this inescapable "disease" is through a clear understanding of what the Bible says about the nature of death and how we can overcome it.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

"Jesus said ...'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die" (John 11:25-26)

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8: 38, 39).
