Why Do Children and Teens Misbehave? (Part 1)

Last night, I was in a coffee shop speaking to two "parents in crisis." Their only son, a 15-year-old teen, has been cutting classes and running away from home due to a couple of addictions: computer addiction and sex addiction. They wondered what evil has befallen their son! I cannot attempt to explain why their son misbehaves. What I can do, along with my being able to relate as a parent myself, is just to offer some reasons that are common. Here are three of them (find out which one fits your situation):

1. Our children and teens misbehave because they are human and they sin too.
2. Our children and teens misbehave because they learn from the parents.
3. Our children and teens misbehave because they are exposed to worldly
influences and corruptions.
