The Hope Of A New Body

One time, I saw two contrasting photos of former sexy star, Brigette Bardot. One is then, the other is now. Again I was reminded that physical beauty and youth are fleeting. The world fixates on beauty of face and form as though that's all there is. It's a lie. The truth is, physical beauty fades. Our earthly body is temporal, fragile, and expendable. We all die sooner or later. So, as Robert Frost would underscore, "The question now is, what do we make of a diminished thing?" Authentic, lasting beauty comes from righteousness and fear of the Lord. It's from Him where we get a new, resurrected body that will never fade and will live with Him forever.
