I'm fond of reading people stories in the news. It strikes me that there are always people around who bend circumstances to get their way at the expense of others. They lie, devise schemes, and victimize people with their manipulation for selfish ends. Not long ago, I'd known a domineering woman who what I say is not the same thing she will say when I'm not around ("dagdag-bawas"), and refused to be accountable. Indeed, in order not to get wounded by dishonest schemers, we have to be extremely wise in dealing with them. Psalm 7 has a word about them. It says that manipulation and evil schemes will return to the person. No one ever gets away with evil or crime. There is a payday. This is the reason why we don't have to take revenge towards the wrongdoer. The universal law of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6) will take care of it.
