What Is Your Life?
Some things easily "go to our head."
Wealth. Fame. Accomplishments. Romance or sex. Relationships etc. We become mesmerized by our success or pleasure today and our plans for tomorrow as if we'll have them forever.
St. James in Scriptures writes, "What is your life? It's a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." Knowing this inescapable truth should give us humility and perspective about our temporary life here.
Each day is a gift from God. Our time is in His hands.
Since our supply of earthly time from God is limited, how then should we spend it?
Do you spend your life on what will last or what will fade away?
To make the most of our life, we need to keep eternity in mind.
