The same is in life.

In chess, you try to figure out what your opponent will do in relation to your position. Your moves are a result of that analysis or understanding. Every move that you make has a consequence. It carries meaning in the overall course of the game.

The same is in life. Aside from acts of God, you are responsible for what goes on in your world. You control the pieces of your game called life. Your greatest teacher can be your enemy. Every obstacle or crisis is an opportunity for growth.

In pursuing recovery and wholeness, establishing a mind that sees you are responsible for anything that happens in your life will bring you far on your way.
