Curve in the Road

Before the Coronavirus, my wife Nhorie and I love walking and moving around.

With or amid people in public places such as church, nature parks, coffee/tea shops, malls, TV stations, among others.

Now, at forced home quarantining, we wait and it’s not easy.

In James 1:17, it says “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.”

I am not ready to call Coronavirus a good gift.

But I am very clear that all we are learning as a result of this pandemic is a good gift.

In both of our lives, my wife and I would not have found each other if life had not taken a curve in the road.

We didn’t ask or pray for it.

But God allowed it and used it to change and enrich our character and be a blessing to people even from different parts of the world about the roads we’ve walked on.

What gift of lessons are you learning from God in waiting during this Coronavirus global tragedy?
