Don't Worry About Tomorrow

Most people condense the whole of life in 5 letters: m-o-n-e-y.

This Coronavirus pandemic is also a money pandemic.

The world is in the brink of one of the worst if not the worst global economic meltdowns in history.

So, more so now, money is seen as a great healer.

If only we have more and more of it during this pandemic, all our woes would be resolved.

For Christians, there will be streets of gold, gates of pearl, and many crowns in the Second Coming of Christ. No more money problem!

But that's still a future promise we eagerly anticipate.

During these trying Covid days, Jesus was warning against trusting in riches as solution and worrying.

He said, "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." (Matthew 6:34)

The only place we all can find life is in the moment, Covid or not. With money or not.

God takes care of our tomorrow.

There is nowhere to live but the now.
